| Fabric Panels |
- For width measurements for fabric panels, measure the width you would like to cover. For fullness, we add width to our Pinch Pleated and Euro Pleated Panels.
|
- Our Rod Pocket, Tab Tops and Unpleated Ring Tops are made without adding fullness. When adding for fullness, designers recommend doubling the flat width (or the width of the window that you are covering) then dividing by the number of panels needed.
|
- For the height, please measure the height that you would like to cover. Please note, the finished height will include the tab tops and pockets. We recommend ordering fabric panels for installation approximately 3" above the window.

| Fabric Valances |
-
Outside Mount
To measure for fabric valances to mount outside of your window casement or trim, measure the width that you want to cover. Then add 2'' to the width to accommodate installation brackets. If valance is being layered over another treatment, request 5-1/2'' returns for greater clearance.
|
| Fabric Shades |
-
We highly recommend outside mount applications only for Fabric Shades due to the nature of fabric. The Carlisle and Thornhill are not recommended for inside mounts because the sides of the shades are not completely straight due to the construction of the shades. Light gaps will be noticeable on inside mounts. These two styles are not as tailored as the Braemar, Glencoe or Stonehaven and may require more dressing when they are raised or lowered.
